The Dreamscapes uses customized lawn treatment programs to give established turf the nutrients and protection it needs through the growing season. We begin with a soil test so we can see what is already available in the soil before deciding what should be added. This helps us build the program around the lawn instead of applying products it may not need.

Green Up Custom Lawn Treatment Program

Our Green Up program combines lawn fertilization with weed, disease, and insect treatments scheduled around the type of grass and its seasonal needs. Liquid treatments are used throughout the program, with the soil analysis helping us determine the nutrient requirements of the turf.

The program is not identical for every lawn. A cool-season Fescue lawn needs a different approach than warm-season Zoysia, Bermuda, or Centipede. The condition of the turf also matters. Thin growth, recurring weeds, discoloration, or disease may change what needs attention during the year.

Our Agronomics Schedule shows when the different applications are generally made throughout the season. Individual treatments may be adjusted when the lawn, weather, or growing conditions call for it.

Cool Season Lawn Program

Our Cool Season Program is designed primarily for Fescue lawns and includes 9 visits per year, with 4 weed control treatments, 9 fertilization treatments, 2 disease control treatments with iron and micronutrients, and 1 insect application.

Our deluxe program also includes annual core aeration and overseeding with premium grass seed. These services are especially important for Fescue lawns that need help recovering density after Georgia's summer heat.

Zoysia Grass Program

The Zoysia Grass Program consists of 9 visits per year, including 3 weed control treatments, 6 fertilization treatments, 2 disease control treatments with iron and micronutrients, and 1 insect application.

Zoysia can develop a heavy thatch layer, so the program can also include dethatching along with core aeration to support better movement of water, air, and nutrients into the soil.

Bermuda Grass Program

Our Bermuda Grass Program includes 9 visits per year, with 4 weed control treatments, 9 fertilization treatments, 2 disease control treatments with iron and micronutrients, and 1 insect application.

Bermuda responds well to the right combination of feeding and seasonal turf care. Core aeration can be incorporated into the program, and homeowners who want a shorter, more manicured Bermuda lawn can also schedule our specialized reel mowing service.

Centipede Grass Program

The Centipede Grass Program consists of 9 visits per year, including 3 weed control treatments, 6 fertilization treatments, 2 disease control treatments with iron and micronutrients, and 1 insect application.

Centipede has different nutrient requirements from Bermuda and Zoysia, so we use fertilizers and weed control methods appropriate for this grass type. Core aeration can also be included when the lawn would benefit from relieving soil compaction.

What Our Turf Treatments Address

A lawn treatment program is meant to manage the problems that affect the grass itself. Fertilization provides nutrients based on the needs of the turf and soil, while weed treatments help reduce unwanted growth competing with the lawn. Disease and insect applications are used when seasonal conditions or turf problems make them necessary.

That does not mean every lawn receives every product at every visit. The purpose of starting with the lawn and soil condition is to make better treatment decisions throughout the year. Homeowners should also let us know about recurring problem areas, unusual discoloration, thinning, or other changes they notice between visits.
